ABOUT THE ROLE:
Mercy Mental Health Program has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join the Education Department.
The role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant is to co-ordinate educational development activities, to nurture a learning culture, high practice standards and values within the organisation. This role is also responsible for the co-ordination of the graduate, transition to mental health nursing and post-graduate nursing programs.

This role works across both Werribee and Footscray sites
ABOUT YOU:
-
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
-
Post Graduate Qualifications in Mental Health Nursing
-
A qualification in Education and Training (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment minimum)
-
Extensive nursing experience in the mental health setting
-
Sound clinical skills in mental health nursing, demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills and proven leadership qualities and values

Mercy Mental Health supports people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also offer inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
