Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.
We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.
We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

We work with several government agencies to coordinate road, rail, bus and maritime services, always keeping the safety and comfort of our customers at the heart of what we do.
In this role you will assist in the implementation and delivery of strategic engagement initiatives that help our business partners to connect with key audience groups in a meaningful way.
The successful candidate will also liaise with external agencies and various project teams to assist with the delivery of strategic engagement tasks.
On a day to day basis you will (but not limited to);

Deliver creative content for high impact proactive projects which support our partners’ to tell their story and promote positive outcomes.

Support our business partners to communicate our narrative effectively and to demonstrate value through priority messages with impact.

Use analytics to track and report back on the value of our engagement efforts on an ongoing basis.

Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning.
About You:
You thrive on building strong collaborative relationships and pride yourself on always being a step ahead - anticipating and addressing issues before they arise. You are a keen problem solver and enjoy the challenge of managing conflicting priorities and multiple coinciding deadlines in a fast paced environment
You possess excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management expertise and experience in the coordination of strategic communications projects.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 7 ($103,965 - $116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
