We have recently been named the ‘World’s Best Bank for 2021’ and we are looking for an experienced Product Owner superstar to join our Retail – Consumer Lending Tribe. This key role will be accountable for identifying and delivering product and process improvements, across both the product and the technology aspects of a squad specifically within the Consumer Lending portfolio.
Here you’ll be responsible for developing the squad’s product vision, and developing strong stakeholder relationships across the business, to successfully deliver against objectives. You’ll have worked on a diverse range of projects in a retail bank or start up environment and have demonstrated your ability to deliver within a desired timeframe and budget.
You’ll represent the voice of the customer, have a strong vision as to how to attract and retain customers and focus on continuously improving the customer benefits ING is offering and the key moments of truth for customers.
What are you going to do? As a Product Owner, you will be…
- Determining and formulating business and product requirements for existing and new products and services within the Retail payments chapter for ING
- Collaborating closely across the organisation to understand our payments experience both from a customer and staff angle with a passion to improve and streamline where possible
- Managing product risks and requirements relating to the customer, supplier and regulators including all financial & non-financial risk
What are we looking for? Someone who has…
- Experience as a Product Owner within the consumer lending or daily banking transaction space
- Project management experience, leading a squad to deliver objectives in an agile framework
- Self-leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and lead a squad
- Strong knowledge of the consumer lending product business model and processes
- Experience in a customer environment, where the customer needs are at the heart of the proposition development
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to make decisions with the capability to influence stakeholder expectations and ensure optimal outcomes are achieved
- The ability to challenge ideas constructively and suggest possible solutions who is comfortable with being held accountable for results
