About the Role
We currently have an opportunity available for experienced API Developer to join our Digital Development team.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing input to operational considerations related to in-house applications with a particular focus to digital channel and API development;
- Development of high-level technical solution designs;
- Analyse and translate business requirements into conceptual solutions;
- Day-to-day support of in-house applications and integrated systems. This includes all second level support items as well as defect management and after-hours support as needed;
- Ensuring all support issues are turned around within appropriate time frames in line with the urgency/priority of issues;
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for BOQ on-premise and cloud environments;
- Ensuring all support issues are turned around within appropriate time frames in line with the urgency/priority of issues;
- Adhering to BOQ change control processes, including ensuring that all changes are appropriately tested and implemented properly; and;
- Providing mentorship and guidance to other team members assisting with support.
About You
Your toolkit for succes:
- 5+ years of Integration experience on SOA, ESB, and Messaging implementation and development;
- Deep understanding of Azure integration technologies such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure WebAPI, Azure APIM , Azure Service Bus;
- Strong Design Experience in NoSQL/SQL database technologies such as Azure Cosmos DB and SQL Server;
- Highly experienced in supporting and developing backend applications in C#, .Net, .Net Core;
- Extensive experience in deploying and hosting solutions to the Azure platform;
- Knowledge of and skills with REST, JSON, XSLT, XSD, XPATH, WSDL, XML, UML;
- Proven experience CI/CD pipleine using Microsoft Azure DevOps, ARM Template, Azure BICEP(Desirable);
- .NET framework understanding including ASP.NET Core framework;
- Proficient in Restful Web Service Design, Service Oriented Application Design;
- Previous experience using monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics(Desirable);
- Experience reading and understanding technical documentation such as API Documents, Process Flow diagrams etc;
- Proven ability to trouble shoot, debug and resolve issues;
- Good understanding and implementation experience on Cloud Computing IaaS and PaaS services;
- Experience using Web APIs with tools such as Postman and CURL;
- Knowledge and skills in Azure API Management Platform, or equivalent systems such as CA, Apigee or Mulesoft; and;
- Familiarity with Azure network topologies and technologies including ExpressRoute and Private Network.
