To further drive our vision, we are seeking a National Demand Planning Manager to take responsibility for leading and standardizing the Demand planning processes across all of our product streams and geographies. This role owns the delivery of all key Demand Planning measures. The role has significant people responsibility and it is expected that the National Demand Planning Manager will be investing time to coach, train and mentor the team on a continuous basis and will oversee a team of 5-8 Demand Planners.

Reporting to the Head of Integrated Business Panning, Key areas of focus will include;
- Lead the development of a rolling 24 month National Demand Forecast for Boral Australia.
- Lead the discussions and reviews with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders as necessary, to understand demand forecast drivers and ensure value in current processes and reporting.
- Ensure proper processes and communications are in place for the business leaders to own the forecast.
- Ensure a collaborative and consensus-based approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Developing strategies to identify and achieve revenue growth opportunities.
- Ensure the implementation of refined tools, systems and processes to continually improve forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer needs.
As a hands-on Demand Planning professional, your experience will cover;
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or Logistics or Engineering or Business.
- 7+ years' experience as a Demand Planning Manager or a Senior Demand Planner in a complex planning environment such as FMCG, Agricultural or perishable goods industry.
- Experience with Big Data is highly desirable as this role deals with a large volume of data – both structured and unstructured.
- Proven ability in safety leadership and implementation of key initiatives.
- Strong experience in leading people.
- Capability to navigate through complex scenarios.
- Entrepreneurial & growth mindset with sound commercial acumen.
