ABOUT THE ROLE:
-
Permanent Full-time position (with an ADO per month) based at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
-
Provide hydraulics and mechanical services support in conjunction with contracted service providers.
-
Responsible for ad hoc and preventative maintenance of building assets & infrastructure as directed by site supervisor.
-
Offer a flexible, organised and responsive service to Werribee Mercy Hospital and associated sites.
-
Participate in the on call roster.
ABOUT YOU:
-
A minimum of 5 years experience in an hydraulic/mechanical services and/or facilities maintenance position ( health care experience preferred)
-
Hydraulics/Mechanical Services skills and experience (trade qualification preferred)
-
A current Victorian drivers licence
-
A working Knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and BAS controls
-
Knowledge of contemporary facilities management techniques and maintenance related issues
-
Excellent interpersonal & effective communication skills with a strong customer service focus
-
An innovative, practical approach to maintenance problem solving
-
Able to multi task job priorities, work as a member of the team and/or independently as required.
