We have an amazing opportunity for a highly skilled Chef de Partie to join our 5-star team to assist in the daily operations within Crown Metropol Hotel.
You will be working across Mr Hive Kitchen and Bar; a modern Australian a la carte Restaurant along with Level 28 Skybar Lounge, which serves as bar and function space as well as the 24-hour Crown Metropol Room Service function.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the management team in the day to day operation as well as providing leadership, support and coaching to your allocated section.
What you need:
- Extensive experience in a similar position
- Restaurant, Room Service and Function experience within an Hotel environment is essential
- Fine Modern Australian cuisine experience and knowledge
- Effective leadership skills including ability to train and mentor your team
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
- Must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, overnights, weekends and public holidays
- You must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work on site at Crown
