Our Technology Services group has a strategic remit to uplift, govern and run the Fund's technology capability. Your new role
A key leadership role within Technology Services, the Delivery Enablement Manager is responsible for leading technology delivery governance across project, continuous improvement, and BAU initiatives. The role will partner closely with Group Strategy & Transformation to ensure technology delivery governance activities align and support the portfolio-wide strategic project governance. The role will also partner with Finance to ensure adherence to Fund-wide financial management practices for technology delivery portfolio.
A key responsibility of this role will include partnering across Technology Services (TS) departments (including relevant Head of) and associated teams to support the establishment of technology delivery initiatives / projects as per Fund-wide project management and financial management practices. The role will lead the technology delivery performance governance, including the TS Delivery Working Group and technology delivery quality assurance review to ensure adherence to technology delivery Handbook including risk / issue / financial / workforce / commercial management. The role will also drive delivery enablement optimisation initiatives and be the custodian of improvement initiatives required across technology delivery including IT Maturity related scope.
What you'll need
The successful applicant will have technology delivery experience including the ability to lead initiatives to elevate delivery performance effectiveness, proven ability to lead process maturity and continuous improvements, and strong influencing & stakeholder management skills.
You are a confident communicator, and comfortable negotiating and building relationships with key business stakeholders at all levels. As a leader you are resilient, engaging and passionate about motivating employees to drive exceptional business and individual performance, and can influence cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams. IN addition, you bring;
- Deep experience across technology project management, portfolio governance roles, with a proven track-record of success in delivery leadership positions
- Experience with P&Ls, financial models, budgets, and data analytics, visualisation, & reporting (e.g. BI tools)
- Demonstrated success in management of complex projects and managing competing deadlines within tight timeframes. This includes experience across both agile and more traditional project methodologies
- Highly developed leadership and people management capabilities, including developing high-performing, sustainable teams and culture, driving performance and behavioural outcomes through others, demonstrating empathy and creating followership
- Advanced experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to create buy-in and communicate strategies and concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff and external stakeholders
- Experience in a fast-growing technology function or company
