We are looking for a Manager Project Services to lead a team of highly skilled Project managers safely, change managers, project engineers and solution architects. This role is an excellent opportunity to advocate for change, driving the work required to deliver the future of surface mining now.

The manager Project Services role is key to building on this success – provide the project management and change management to continue successfully deploying the products and processes across the Rio Tinto group. This is an opportunity to work as a leader within a highly capable and technical team that continues to transform Mining across the globe.
Reporting to the General Manager of Services and Delivery and working in a multidisciplinary and exciting environment, you will utilise the skills learned from your previous success in building, leading and developing a team of Project professionals.
A degree qualification in Business/Commerce, or Engineering (or similar) combined with your substantial project and change management experience will allow you to foster project management skillsets, support change and communication management for new products, understand the different aspects and requirements of project management. You'll also oversee the facilitation of the governance process across the lifecycle of new and existing products within the group. The team members and their capabilities are in high demand. A key capability of the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate to work with their colleagues and peers about how they collaborate in delivering on company priorities and ensure those priorities get delivered effectively.
You'll embrace a growth mindset and use collaborative ways of working, leading change efforts to embed new ways of working within the team, focusing on team members' agile development requirements and proactively seeking feedback to drive continuous improvement.
You'll use your strong stakeholder management skills will see you succeed in managing internal and external groups, and your excellent communication, collaboration, and change management skills demonstrated your ability to influence, collaborate and manage stakeholder relationships.
You'll be supported by a strong leadership team who encourage you to be curious and continue to grow and inspire.

Where you'll be working
This role may be based in Perth or Brisbane, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible.
