Launching this Autumn Clare Smyth’s highly anticipated international restaurant debut, Oncore, is now hiring for the Kitchen. Oncore, which is an elegant and informal yet relaxed version of fine dining in Australia. With an emphasis on natural, sustainable produce, sourced from the Australia’s most dedicated farmers and producers, a passion to delight and share her love of exceptional food, wine, service and hospitality, Oncore aspires towards the “Restless pursuit of excellence”.
Clare’s original London restaurant, Core in Notting Hill opened in 2017 and has since taken the world dining scene by storm. Attaining a complete set of accolades within its first three years; five AA Rosettes, a perfect 10/10 in the Good Food Guide and most recently, the most prestigious award of three Michelin Stars, the maximum awarded by the Michelin Guide.
The Commis Chef de Partie will form part of an exceptional group of chefs in the kitchen that share in the common purpose of delivering an exceptional dining experience working together. This is a chance for career minded Chefs to be part of a restaurant that is the first of its kind in Australia.
We are looking for the following;
- Proven experience in a hatted or Michelin starred restaurant
- A passion to learn and contribute to the success of the team.
- The ability to bring your previous experience into the kitchen to assist in the opening phase and beyond.
- A team player with a positive, open and honest communication style
- Exceptional grooming standards appropriate for a 5- star environment
- A personal drive to learn and to work as a team to offer a world class restaurant experience
