About the role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a 6 month contract who will provide support to our team of Talent Acquisition Partners. In particular this role will support our amazing Female Frontline Leadership Development Program which will result in hiring into all the Rio Tinto Aluminium sites across APAC East in 2022. This is a high profile, high volume recruitment process in which you will be liaising with lots of stakeholders and candidates. Based at our Brisbane central hub on Charlotte Street, we also offer flexibility to work from home and also on start/finish time - standard is 40 hrs pw/8 hrs per day. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will be:
Posting advertisements on various job boards
Assisting with shortlisting of candidates
Reviewing applicants test results and making recommendations
Conducting phone screens with applicants
Booking interviews both face to face and virtually
Accountable for the preparation and delivery of regional assessment centres
Assisting with background checks and medical bookings/offer process paperwork
What you’ll bring
A background in a recruitment or HR environment would be advantageous
An ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
A passion for engaging with people, both on the phone and face to face – excellent communication skills are essential
Ability to prioritise volume of workload and conflicting deadlines, working in a timely manner and having a keen attention to detail
You will be well organised, have a pro-active, can do attitude and be happy working in a fast paced environment
Excellent IT skills across a broad range of platforms, in particular leveraging all tools and Apps within the Microsoft suite
