We have an exciting new role to kick off 2022 for an experienced individual to join the team as Demand Leader on a permanent basis. This role reports to our Sales Strategy & Demand Director and is based in Auckland, balancing your week between our Fanshawe St office and working from home.
As our Demand Leader you will lead a team of Demand Planners to facilitate Sales in building robust longer term Demand plans and controlling the shorter term delivery of demand.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Leveraging your deep Demand expertise to ensure high quality demand plans are built & executed
- Drive best in class metrics for Demand forcasting accuracy & bias to support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) maturity progression
- Manage demand planning delivery ensuring alignment with IBP calendar, mitigation of risks to commercial performance and transparency & communication of demand planning results
- Drive demand forcasting capability growth in business partners
- Create, develop & lead a high performing team
The key skills & experience we’re looking for is:
- Deep expertise in Demand Planning within the FMCG industry
- Proficiency in Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Demonstrated experience & strength in building relationships, business partnering and influencing peers & stakeholders at all levels of the business
- A strong coach, who invests time in their people to develop & grow their teams capability
