Bar Manager - Velvet & Diamond Bar

Velvet Bar is located in the middle of the gaming floor and is known to be one of the busiest destination bars at Crown, famously known for its large selection of super cocktails! Velvet bar also covers beverage service to a large section of the gaming floor through it’s dispense venue, Diamond Bar. With a team of around 65 employees, the staff of both Velvet and Diamond Bar ensure that the bar patrons and those who utilise our gaming facilities receive a level of service that match Crown’s values and standards.
The Bar Manager will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and is responsible for leading the efficient operation of this bar. They will have outstanding leadership skills; thrive in a fast-paced modern environment as well as manage guest expectations. Responsibilities also include training, development and rostering of staff as well as cost control. Additionally, sound understanding of financials e.g. COGs, budgets, P&Ls, labours costs are also key accountabilities.
What you need:
- Previous experience in Management of large scale bars
- Exceptional hands-on leadership skills to mentor & coach a large team
- Strong business acumen, time management and organisational skills
- Passion for the hospitality industry, demonstrated with sound product knowledge
- Stakeholder management skills
- Commitment and passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work full time across a 24/7 rotating roster
- Must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work onsite
