About the Role
Do you dream of working in a bank that values its people and customers alike? Bank of Queensland are recruiting for our next batch of Contact Centre Agents to join our Varsity Lakes based team. You’ll service our customers across all our products by having great conversations, efficiently helping them out with their banking needs.
No banking experience, no problem – we’ll provide you with all the training and tools to set you up for success. This role is perfect if you’re looking to launch into the world of banking and work for a company where you can forge your own career path – so if you like what you’ve read so far, we’d love to hear from you.
There are several shifts we are recruiting for:
- Tuesday to Saturday 7.00 – 3.30
- Monday to Friday 8.00 – 4.30
- Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00
- Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30
About you
Has banking always interested you? Maybe you’ve spent the majority of your career in retail, hospitality or customer service and are looking to transfer the skills you’ve gained into a different industry where you can build a career? You’ve got the customer service skills we’ll provide the training that you need to succeed. In this role the three most valuable skills (aside from customer service and a positive attitude) that we are looking for in successful people are:
- Resilience (every call is different; every customer is different – treat every call like it’s the first call of the day)
- Dedicated and reliable (if your shift starts at 8, be ready to take your first call at 8)
- Exceptional communication skills (you need to be a good listener, articulate and speak in a way that is respectful and professional)
