Responsible Gaming Shift Manager

An exciting opportunity is on offer to join the Crown Melbourne Responsible Gaming Team. Reporting to the Operations Manager Responsible Gaming, the Responsible Gaming Shift Manager (RGSM), will play a key role in the implementation and delivery of Responsible Gaming programs and services, with the aim of minimising harm for Crown customers, their families, to staff and others who may be experiencing various levels of distress.
Working a 24 hour/7-day roster, the role encompasses Responsible Gaming Advisor duties with additional on shift responsibilities. These include monitoring compliance, reviewing documentation and reporting, co-ordinating of on shift staffing and responding to customers where a management presence is required to provide advice or diffuse/escalate a situation.
Key selection criteria:
- Previous experience within a similar role would be highly regarded
- Any Gaming Operations knowledge would be highly regarded
- The ability to maintain a high level of integrity, sensitivity, and confidentiality at all times
- A strong customer focus, and the ability to build trust and rapport with people from all cultures and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Experienced in problem solving, decision making and diplomacy within a highly regulated environment.
- Ability to obtain Casino Special Employee Licence in NSW, Victoria and WA.
