About the Role
‘The Inside Job’ is the internal creative agency for the ME Bank, Virgin Money Australia and Bank of Queensland brands and we are growing at lightning speed! As our Senior Brand Designer, you’ll play a key role in crafting creative, on brand assets across the three brands– ensuring the creative application is brought to life at all touch points.

Reporting to our Creative Services Lead (All around superstar), the role will be the go-to person for on-brand work, interpreting, implementing and rolling out the creative. You’ll also develop and design a range of assets from social to print and ensure we have beautifully designed work that gives a true representation of each of our brands. You’ll be our brand champion, the person we can count on to ensure consistency across the channels.
As our team grows, so will your management responsibility. You’ll be tasked with leading, nurturing and coaching a team of junior designers. You will work closely with our creative services Lead to aid design direction and manage the overall expectations of the team and various stakeholders.
We might be a network of banks, but the work we do is far from grey and dull. Come add some colour!
About you
Our Senior Brand designer will naturally have the creative juices flowing but we also need someone who can channel that innovatively across the group. For this role, we need someone coming out of an advertising agency, or design studio. You’ll also need to have a strong working knowledge of the Adobe creative suite and some experience with Figma or similar is a plus.
Given there will some management responsibility in the role, it would be nice if you’ve been in a similar position previously. We’ve got an exciting and enthusiastic team, so we’re looking for someone who’ll be able to lead, bring their own flare but also someone who’ll buy into the culture and help us grow.
Finally, with growth plans in mind, we need you to comfortable with high volume environments where deadlines are tight but are met. Our ability to deliver on time and with quality is the cornerstone of our success and ensures the longevity of the “The Inside Job”
