Your Opportunity
CPB Contractors are seeking an experienced Project Financial Management (PFM) Advisor to join our head office team based in Fortitude Valley. Reporting directly to the BU Finance Manager, this role will see you responsible for the effective delivery of Project Controls and Financial Management services to the QLD & PNG business unit and projects.
As a PFM Advisor, you will be accountable for:
- Maintaining effective project controls to ensure timely and accurate management and meaningful reporting of project financials
- Coordinating the ongoing system & procedural improvements and release of changes to the business unit
- Assisting with set up of project controls and financial management on new projects
- Development and promotion of Power BI reporting over systems
- Monitoring and providing ongoing mentoring and assistance to users in the development of their Project Controls and Financial Management skills.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or related field
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Construction industry
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to analyse and communicate financial information
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment
