About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Concrete Batcher to join our team in Bermagui NSW. The focus of this role will be the batching and despatching of concrete in accordance with quality standards and project requirements.
The successful candidate will require the flexibility to work across Monday to Saturday.
Duties
Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs
- Managing day to day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant including stock control of raw materials
- Allocation of loads of concrete to suit daily customer orders
- Delivering high quality customer service and proactive problem solving
- General yard and plant housekeeping, and maintenance
- Active participation in Boral’s safety initiatives including hazard reporting and Toolbox talks
Skills/ Experience
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
- A front-end loader ticket is preferred
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with sound computer literacy
- A proven ability to work within a team
- Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience is desirable but not essential
- An attitude and commitment that will fit a highly motivated team environment
