Overview
The primary purpose of the role is to Manage the Health & Safety Information Systems (Synergy, Solv Injury and Solv Health) for the CIMIC Group, covering vendor management, contract renewals, system upgrades, system support, user support, enhancement planning and continuous improvement.
Support the management of key external vendors, including International SOS for travel security, international medical and repatriation service, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) vendors.
Management and coordination of Operating Company HSE leaders and Systems Managers to ensure the timely submission of consistent and accurate reports, including Monthly Dashboards, Quarterly Reports and Board Health & Safety and Environmental Reports.
Analysis, interpretation and reporting of H&S performance data for the CIMIC Group, including monthly & quarterly reporting, data and trend analysis, and consolidated reporting to Hochtief. Coordinating and participating in Group Governance activities, such as Quarterly MD Health & Safety Reviews and Operating Company Verification Reviews.
Key responsibilities include:
- HSE IT Providers: Manage the quality of service from external HSE IT systems providers, including Enablon, Solv and Arcadis. Manage HSE IT vendors development of new system proposals, contract delivery, contract renewals and service delivery. Manage CIMIC Health & Safety information systems (including Synergy, Solv, Travel Tracker, SIMS). Manage third party IT support providers (Arcadis).
- Group safety data: Manage and collate data entry from OpCo’s according to schedule whilst ensuring the data has integrity and the reporting is accurate. Report on data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Employee Assistance Program: Manage Group EAP and International SOS with key OpCo stakeholders. Provide support and coordination of EAP providers in locations where the central service provider has no reach.
- HSE System: Provide resolutions to system errors and ad hoc system requests. Develop and maintain system training reference materials, and provide training to system users.
- Support the GGM Health & Safety with input to the MDs Health & Safety Reviews and the Board ECSC, including the preparation of meeting papers, minutes, and monitoring action closeout
- Identify Group safety trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor contract renewals and service delivery from external suppliers.
Education and Qualifications required for this role:
- Tertiary Health & Safety Qualification – Undergraduate level highly regarded.
Experience, Skills and Behavioural Competencies required for this role:
- Demonstrated experience managing health, safety and environment management systems and databases used in construction, mining, services, or another industrial environment.
- Proven experience managing Health, Safety and Environment IT systems and support services providers, including the sourcing of new vendor proposals, managing systems upgrades, contract renewals and ongoing service requirements.
- Solid experience using and providing high level support for health, safety, and environment information management systems. Experience in using the Enablon database is highly regarded.
- Strong engagement, influencing, and managing systems teams to ensure consistent and cost-effective delivery of CIMIC Group level HSE IT systems.
- High level skills in reporting, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data.
- Well-developed organisational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver within challenging deadlines
