ABOUT THE ROLE:
As part of the Ward 6 team, we provide nursing care across a 31 bed specialist Gynaecology / Oncology Surgical Ward inclusive of a 5 bed High Dependency Unit, and an associated Day Chemotherapy Unit. We are looking for Registered Nurses or Registered Nurses/Midwives, preferably with experience in our ward’s speciality areas.

Includes working across all rostered shifts including Morning, Evening and Night shifts as allocated based on availabilities

Requirement to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month
ABOUT YOU:
-
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse / Midwife
-
Chemotherapy experience or HDU experience
-
Experience in the Gynaecology Oncology setting, including surgical experience
-
Post Graduate Qualification in Midwifery or Oncology is desirable, or
-
High Dependency Nursing qualifications

Adaptable to a changing environment and ability to problem solve in a variety of situations

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
