As the lead agency of the NSW transport cluster, Transport for NSW is responsible for coordinating transport services used by over 7.5 million residents, 800,000 businesses and 30 million visitors every year. The opportunity
Right now we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated administrative and support professional to work in this customer-centric position which plays a key role in supporting the Compliance and Regulatory Services division to ensure effective operation of the Sanctions Unit team of Regulatory Program Administration.
This role engages with internal and external stakeholders, including the general public, solicitors, police, other agencies (eg Service NSW ) where you will be confidently responding to enquiries and escalating or redirecting issues where required, while providing administrative support activities and services in line with agreed standards, timeframes and milestones.
What you will be involved in

Managing escalations, mostly licensing issues which you will need to resolve utilising in-house software (DRIVES) while liaising with the stakeholders.

The collection of information to support informed decision making.

The provision of administrative and support services in a high volume and transactional environment.
About you
We are looking for a confident, motivated individual with a “can do” attitude and an ability to work under pressure.
You will need to have a strong customer service ethic with excellent communication and computer skills to be able to work in this high volume environment.
Ideally you will have previous experience working in a regulatory environment, and knowledge of Legislation is desirable but not essential.

The salary for this position is USS Grade 4 ($67,801 - $ 73,233) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
