As a Network Supply Chain Logistics Specialist, you be will responsible for delivering and coordinating the execution of Telstra's Network Supply Chain logistics operations logistics plans and priorities for the Network Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as key day to day interface into warehouse and freight service providers to ensure delivery performance and business standing with customers and business partners.
- Coordinate and support logistics related transactional and administrative duties
- Manage day to day logistics operations to ensure secure, effective and timely inventory management/logistics systems
- Manage ongoing contractual relationships with vendors and logistic providers to ensure conformance to negotiated service level agreements
- Develop and document enterprise logistics procedures and processes and identify ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- Demonstrated logistics experience within Retail/FMCG /Utility sector
- Knowledge of the physical logistics networks, operations and transport and warehouse management policies and practices, and third party commercial arrangements
- Demonstrated contemporary functional supply chain strategic planning and distribution knowledge and application within a complex environment, including regional and multi-site knowledge
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain metrics and improvement initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ERP software knowledge
