The Forensic Technology Services (FTS) team is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to be based in our Sydney CBD office. Our dedicated and passionate FTS team of Consultants and Senior Consultants specialise in the support of forensic investigations, project consulting, evidence management, identification and e-discovery.

We have a well-established in-house team with over 120 team members nationally. Key responsibilities
This exciting role will see you;
- Working within our instance of Relativity to prepare relevant workflows for all phases, support review and analysis and prepare documents for production/exchange.
- Providing oversight of discovery matters and serving as primary point of contact for both internal and external clients
- Responsible for managing phases of projects and communicating the status of tasks to team members and ensure tasks are completed in an accurate and efficient manner (within strict deadlines)
- Liaise professionally with internal and client stakeholders to manage deadlines for deliverable
- Working with specialists within the FTS team to support the needs of a project - calling on other experts as and where required.
- Assist the team in the coordination of resources for specific components of large projects or the overall coordination of smaller projects including instructing and assessing the work of Paralegals
- Mentoring and training junior team members of the team
- Manage client evidence and data
- Proactively manage own workload, meet set KPIs and accurately record time spent on tasks
- Identify opportunities to provide efficient and organised support to the wider team
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have between 3-5 years of experience in either eDiscovery or digital forensics practices. Hands on experience using eDiscovery software is a must - Relativity experience is highly desired.
The following demonstrable skills are highly desirable:
- Experience in using eDiscovery processing and/or review platforms - hands on experience with Relativity or other ediscovery review software is essential and Nuix is highly regarded
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional services firm, law firm, government agency
- Ability to communicate and work well with a team containing varied technical skills
- Ability to prepare and analyse data in Relativity, Nuix, or similar tools
- Ability to assist in collecting data in a forensically sound manner
- Ability to prepare clear and concise written communications
- Tertiary qualifications, for example, in Law, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, and be eager and excited to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft.
