Job Description
We are looking for an experienced sales person, who is passionate about training others. In this role, you will join our Sales & Service Training Team, and have a chance to leave a mark on the personal and professional development of our Sales Teams across the world.
The key components of this role will be to:
Identify the training needs of our sales teams
Develop a sales training plan to meet our needs, aligned with the business strategy
Design and deliver sales training in-house
Build in-house capability for our experts to be able to train others (train the trainer)
Evaluate training impact and improve sales metrics through continuous improvement.
This role covers all training needs including selling skills, product knowledge and systems training. You will co-ordinate a learning journey that ensures all of these components are covered, but will not need to be an expert in products or systems (you need to bring our internal experts together to help you deliver this). We are primarily looking for someone with sales experience, who can help us develop the selling skills of our EMEA teams.
Qualifications
To be abcam's Global Sales Training Manager, you will have sales experience in the Life Sciences industry or related market. You will be passionate about teaching others selling skills and have influenced and presented complex concepts to multiple stakeholders.
