Digital Performance Marketing is one of the largest investments in American Express and as part of the Enterprise Performance Channel Enablement team you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive performance marketing growth.
In this role, you will report to the Manager within the Publisher Partnerships Team and responsible for enabling and supporting the usage of platforms and capabilities across programmatic and social media publishers such as Google, Meta and Amazon. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the Enterprise's partnerships with large, global advertising publishers. You will drive a step change in growth across multiple countries and various lines of business, during a period of significant regulatory change in the industry.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Digital Performance Marketing, especially across programmatic advertising channels. You will have expertise in campaign management and measurement and have a good understanding of the platforms and capabilities that can be used to drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with current publishing partners such as Google, Facebook and Amazon to ensure full usage of their platforms, as well as scoping and implementing new capabilities to drive future performance
- Identify, assess and onboard new publishers to develop a capability roadmap for the business
- Partner with internal teams to develop and onboard solutions to address key challenges and deliver a cookieless approach to drive acquisition performance
- Work with central and local marketing activsation teams as well as agency partners to ensure capabilities are integrated to drive the best results for the business
- Partner with Analytics counterparts to measure the effectiveness of current and new publisher capabilities to inform our roadmap
- Monitor internal and external digital trends and technologies to continually improve the programme and maintain competitive advantage
- Present digital capability strategy and roadmap to senior stakeholders in markets and other central teams
- Work with internal compliance, legal and privacy teams to ensure all capabilities are implemented within current regulations and guidance

Minimum Qualifications
- A digital marketer with a passion for digital marketing and strong track record of delivering digital acquisition results
- Strong technical knowledge of all digital media and technology
- Proven track record of successfully driving performance across multiple digital platforms
- Personal accountability and driving results
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presenting to senior management Experience working with global markets
- Strong relationship management and ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Competent at managing an ever-changing backlog and able to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise
- A motivated individual who takes ownership, works well within a team and can multi-task and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
