Global Talent Acquisition is looking for an Inhouse Recruiter based from our Brighton office (Hybrid model)to join our team, and support Volume/Class Hiring for our Brighton Office! The Recruitment Talent Lead will be responsible for executing the end-to-end hiring process at AXP, while ensuring outstanding candidate and Hiring Leader experience. They will screen, assess, interview, and lead the offer process in order to acquire the best quality candidates with the greatest speed. The Recruitment Talent Lead will be a talent champion who can actively stay connected to an active pipeline of candidates, maintain long-term candidate relationships, and energetically sell the role and the American Express brand.

Here’s just some of what you’ll do in this role:
- Lead and own screening, assessment, interview, and offer process activities for the regional/functional segment, working with Talent sourcers to ensure the best Talent is screened and hired.
- Enact broader GTA recruitment strategy to ensure delivery of qualified and diverse talent
- Managing the logistics of key meetings, including room booking, catering, production of meeting materials when on site. .
- Master ops excellence by using available technologies to improve efficiency and quality to accomplish the delivery plan
- Recommend and drive improvements to the local sourcing strategy and pipeline by actively collaborating with GTA Manager
- Work with Hiring Leader to achieve hiring volume and headcount goals, gather key input for candidate slates, and provide feedback on candidates and influences hiring decisions
- Update and post jobs, manage requisitions, and disposition candidate
- Conduct first round interview, intake meetings with leaders, interview debriefs, and reviews assessments
- Structure new offers, works with compensation team to determine appropriate package and negotiate offer
- Partner with employee relations, ensuring background check and onboarding information is completed correctly.
- Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Leader feedback
- Create events and handle colleague referrals
- Keep abreast of new hiring practices and trends in the industry

Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Previous Recruitment Experience a definate advantage either In-house Recruiter roles or an Account Manager type role within a 360 Model.
- Segment and industry-specific knowledge - high volume hiring a definate advantage
- Excellent MS skills including Powerpoint & Excel
- Presentation skills including data, adherance numbers and effectively managing the volume projects.
- Excellent process admin experience required
- Ability to effectively maintain relationships
- Ability to partner with ancillary groups supporting TA processes
- Ability to make logical decisions in a complex environment
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly
- Ability to influence at the highest levels
- Ability to multi-task and manage various job roles.
