The UK Card Services business is a large and rapidly growing area, operating in a complex and evolving regulatory landscape. The UK Regulatory Response team focuses on enabling the business to adapt to the ever-changing environment, whilst supporting the leadership team to identify, manage and mitigate potential risks whilst reducing the impact to the business.
This role is part of a high profile and dynamic team which focuses on driving and managing our regulatory response, championing regulatory change, conduct risk management and process governance across the International Card Services (ICS) business. We partner closely across the enterprise to ensure we deliver best in class customer outcomes and deliver a robust foundation for the business that meets our regulatory and compliance requirements.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Support the implementation of changes required to maintain compliance across the issuing business in response to significant regulatory changes and to manage and resolve regulatory issues
- Provide support to project management, remediation and monitoring of regulatory projects
- Support the project management of complex regulatory OREs, Audit Management Action Plans (MAPs), Regulatory Business Self Testing (RBST) and process governance
- Maintain the strategy, oversight, and delivery of the UK ICS testing programme in partnership with other 1st line teams
- Analyse key data metrics to establish gaps and find solutions to mitigate risk
- Understand key regulatory changes in the market that affect the ICS business
- Develop and execute customer communications directly and through marketing partners
- Translate complex changes into simple & compelling customer-facing messages for multiple audiences
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in supporting projects with ability to influence and drive change
- Proven ability at taking initiative, prioritising and multitasking
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking
- Ability to understand detailed operational issues
- Strong relationship management skills and confident at collaborating and influencing various stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
