GPM leads negotiations with travel supplier partners to provide premium Card Members access to a trusted network of carefully curated brands and exclusive benefits. We reciprocate for our supplier partners through a disciplined, data-driven marketing strategy designed to increase customer engagement and revenue growth for strategic partners and for TLS.

How will you make an impact in this role?
The Regional Travel Partner Manager will report to the Director of International Partnerships, and is responsible for expanding centralised air programs and driving new opportunity for TLS. You will deliver air revenue targets, and create local value for air, and champion regional inventory. You will work with regional markets to understand their needs and drive local market requirements.
Strong Industry and market knowledge and demonstration of strong relationship and negotiation skills will be required to deliver best in class customer benefits whilst driving incremental commercial benefits to TLS.
- Drives engagement in TLS, being innovative to maintain TLS’ competitive position and partnering with internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience.
- Support the Global TLS Strategy to drive education and engagement in global programs across all platforms.
- Provide market intelligence to support regional and local deal negotiations balancing commercial terms for TLS and delivering customer value.
- Manages implementation of new deals, and renewals of multiyear deals, and the connected associated tasks.
- Drives supplier engagement through strong account management skills.
In collaboration with TLS Supplier Relationships Team, additional responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of partner training and dedicated Travel Training/ Partner events.
- Manage the external partner relationship and needs against internal requirements and education.
- Managing ad hoc partner activity such as card member limited offers.
- Experienced product/ benefit and account manager with expert knowledge of the luxury travel industry (Air) and or (Hotel).
- Flexibility and “Openness” to Change – the need to readily adapt to change and new demands of the TLS business by taking on and owning additional responsibility, often with conflicting deadlines .
- Supporting the wider team in Ad-hoc projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong customer orientation, able to understand & interpret premium customers' needs
- High Level of motivation and ability to work under own initiative, specifically able to work across multiple time zones, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Analytical – Able to read and analyse data, and make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, driving card holder engagement.
- Innovative and creative thinker, prepared to challenge status quo and find creative solutions to problems.
- Ability to communicate across business units and influence others both internally & externally.
- Experience in airline negotiations is desirable.
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder management, and be able to demonstrate dealing with difficult scenarios, and building multilevel relationships within the partners business.
- Extremely thorough with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills (both written and oral).
- Knowledge of GDS and airline revenue management desirable.
- Proficiency in Spanish/German/French desirable.
- Requirement to travel as per business needs.
