How will you make an impact in this role?
- Lead delivery of the initial launch of a new Records of Processing (ROPA) tool at American Express, while shaping the long term strategy for comprehensive and accurate automation going forward.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design a product roadmap to meet regulatory requirements. Communicate this roadmap with key stakeholder to gain buy-in.
- Partner with engineering and business unit teams to identify requirements for the new ROPA tool and enable onboarding and integration of the tool with existing data sources and related bank systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify where opportunities for automation exist within current DSAR processes and promote practical solutions to encourage efficiency.
- Lead walkthrough meetings to identify current state processes and data flows and design point of next roadmaps.
- Summarize complex challenges into digestible decision papers for senior management with clear recommendations.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance team to identify synergies and align roadmaps to core data governance processes
- Work with business units and second line to align product roadmaps to uplifted completion processes for ROPAs and DSARs
- Significant years of demonstrated excellence in leading teams delivering technology-driven business solutions across the enterprise
- Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can combine problem-resolution, insights-driven prioritization, and ability to influence to achieve critical business goals
- Rigorous attention to detail, with demonstrated proficiency in creating transparent, well-communicated, and scalable processes, while leading the implementation of those processes across a matrixed environment
- Confidence in decision-making in complex & ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting and aligning conflicting interests
