What You'll Do
  • Coordinate the full cycle of domestic and international payroll processing for US and global subsidiaries, ensuring flawless execution and compliance.
  • Provide strategic mentorship to optimize payroll processes for scalability across various regions.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing payroll team, encouraging a positive, collaborative environment.
  • Ensure team members are subject matter experts and primary points of contact for payroll inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as P&C leaders, Accounting, Finance, and Audit to align payroll with broader organizational goals.
  • Engage with collaborators across different time zones to ensure effective communication and execution of business objectives.
  • Develop and complete strategic plans to scale and optimize global payroll operations.
  • Build and implement internal controls and workflows to guarantee compliance with payroll, tax, and benefits regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Stay updated on wage laws and regulations to ensure systems align with current standards.
  • Lead the build and deployment of global payroll systems, ensuring compliance with data security regulations.
  • Manage complex payroll-related queries and ensure timely resolution of issues, maintaining high service quality.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in global payroll management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Understanding of international, federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with collaborators at all levels.
  • Experience with payroll system build and implementation, particularly in a global context.
  • High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide insightful mentorship on payroll matters.
  • Strong dedication to continuous improvement and innovation in payroll processes.
