What You'll DoDefine and complete the global data engineering strategy for customer-facing solutions, aligning technical completion with product vision and customer expectations.
Partner closely with Product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and serve as a senior technical liaison with customers and partners.
Lead and mentor a distributed team of managers, engineers, and technical leads, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Establish and enforce data engineering guidelines, standards, and processes across multiple platforms and technologies.
Drive automation, quality, and performance across data pipelines and customer-facing systems.
Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of data products supporting customer data feeds, APIs, reports, and dashboards.
Coordinate resource planning, workload distribution, and prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Collaborate deeply with Product Management, Project Management, Architecture, Data Governance & Compliance, Analytics, Data Science, and Application Engineering teams.
Build a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and adoption of modern engineering practices.
Ensure all engineering deliverables align with enterprise data governance, compliance, security, and privacy requirements.
Act as a visible leader who can distill complex engineering topics for non-technical collaborators and influence decisions through clarity and empathy.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics delivery, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
Proven track record of building and leading customer-facing data products or analytics platforms.
