GIACE exists to accelerate business impact through insights and capability transformation. From early-stage R&D through late-stage commercial, we:
guide disease and R&D capability strategy to increase the value of our pipeline; influence go-to-market and commercialization strategy to insure readiness for launch; drive maximum value of our new product launches for HCPs, patients and AZ; and (4) amplify brand growth and transform customer engagement.
About the Global Sales Excellence Director role:
This role reports directly into the Sr Director of Global & US Sales Excellence and will be responsible for reimagining, identifying and building future best in class capabilities, frameworks, tools and learning experiences to enable our partners to deliver BBU strategic priorities. This role will work collaboratively with key markets, influencing through a cross matrix environment to drive success of AZ business and key brands.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop world-class capability frameworks, learning experiences, assessments tools/programmes in the areas of Sales Excellence and Key Account Management
- Support priority market implementation and embedding of elite Sales Excellence and Key Account management (key focus on Selling Skills, Coaching, Leadership development and key account management)
- Develop and craft innovative solutions to help respond to market changes and future needs based on deep insights
- Lead and implement diagnostics and for insight generation, measurement, impact and learning
- Seek out and actively participate in the ongoing development of the relevant key AZ Capability Transformation Programmes and future interventions in Sales and key account working capabilities
- Work with line leader to build commercial excellence and learning transformation strategy through the development and implementation of pioneering capability programmes that address our business priorities and the evolving AZ portfolio.
- Continually identify areas of opportunity to evaluate, innovate and improve learning for maximum commercial business impact
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (business, life sciences preferred)
- Significant experience of sales and key account management, processes and metrics.
- Strong demonstration of leading complexity, agile working, cross functional working and effective senior partner engagement
- Ability to communicate, influence and deliver impactful change across all levels and cultures
- Consistent track record of success in commercial and capability building roles within sales, coaching and leadership orientation
- Significant experience of commercial leadership roles with strategic, financial and people leadership skills in a cross functional environment
- Ability to take sophisticated ideas and concepts and deliver them in a simplistic manner to audiences of all levels
