We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our Cambridge Site Operations Team, to oversee and govern a consistent first-class customer experience across our Cambridge estate.
The role will focus on governing services in our current footprint, and support programme activities in the development of our future estate. We are seeking an exceptional FM professional with proven ability to govern operational activities, working closely with supply partners and key stakeholders across the business as we embark on our next stage of our estate strategy.

Key Accountabilities:
In the role of Facilities Manager, you will:
- Oversee and govern a consistent first-class customer experience across our current footprint
- Support the transition of services from our existing estate to the new R&D facility
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to driving processes across sites and change programmes
- Devise, develop and own service solutions to maximise productivity and customer outcomes
- Collaborate with supply partners and senior stakeholders across all aspects of the business
- Ensure alignment, connectivity and engagement across Cambridge Operations and our Business Partners, identifying and developing service solutions that significantly benefit the AstraZeneca business
To be successful in this role, we believe the following skills and experience is crucial:
- Experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering Facilities Management, people transition or similar change projects
- A recognised Facilities Management qualification, or equivalent
- Previous experience of working in a Facilities Management setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and colleagues across broad functions
- Outstanding influencing and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with working at pace, in a dynamic environment, adapting and reacting with agility as priorities and schedules change to meet the needs of our business
- Capable of working effectively within a governance framework and matrix organisation
- A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy and resilience; able to multi-task effectively, problem-solve and take smart risks
- Ability to work well in diverse teams and proven ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes
- Awareness of industry standards and trends
- Member of an appropriate professional body is preferred, but not essential.
