As Head of Digital Customer Engagement, you will drive the Execution of AZ’s digital customer outreach capabilities in Multi and Omnichannel programs. This role leads an approximate team size of 15-20 Associates. This role reports to the Vice President of Oncology Business Unit Global Digital Health.
Accountabilities
- Owning the current deployment and forward evolution of AstraZeneca’s digital customer engagement capability, across Global and all market teams
- Drive simplification, automation, and efficiency in our digital customer engagement model that covers all AstraZeneca countries (EUCAN – 26 markets)
- Ensure iteration and uptake of an efficient central engagement model across all markets with varying levels of resource and digital evolution
- Develop the next-generation content and MLR delivery process in service of ensuring highly maneuverable digital campaigns in the market at scale
- Lead the company’s approach to digital media purchasing, driving down cost, growing accuracy, and rapid deployment in service of brand and TA priorities
- Championing, creating, and cultivating the connection between AstraZeneca’s teams and external partners and companies that result in innovation opportunities, tools, and programs that use digital innovation to accelerate and improve the commercial unit's impact on Health Systems, HCPs, and Patients.
- Work in close partnership with the Digital colleagues in Medical to harmonize on a common Enterprise approach to customer engagement
- Establish yourself and the team as Subject Matter Experts in Digital Commercial Engagement capabilities
- Be the Point person on the Commercial Digital Health Team for the Global R&I TA – representing all Commercial Digital Health Teams Functions to the TA as a single point of contact for the VP TA Lead
Minimum requirements
- 5+ years in commercial digital business
- 3+ years of people management/hiring experience
- Results-driven approach to work and project development
- Consistent track record of influencing and leading in a matrix environment
- Motivated by delivering digital innovation in service of improved patient outcomes and treatment experience
- Direct experience in developing and delivering a major Digital product launch in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience bringing innovation that is solving sophisticated and multifaceted issues from an operational, technical, financial, and human perspective
- Experience In driving global change in complex organizations, covering multiple cultures and a significant number of functions
Preferred requirements
- Understanding of oncology and biopharmaceutical brand priorities with depth
- Understanding of the dynamic external environment including new innovative digital technology
- Highly developed communication and influencing abilities across organizational teams and levels in a large intricate operating environment
- Ability to express sophisticated ideas in a clear and compelling way to multiple external and internal partner groups
