About Precision Medicine & Biosamples

Precision Medicine is at the heart of our commitment to innovation and growth. We put patients first by applying precision medicine approaches across all therapy areas (TAs), and in over 95% of drug projects, which sets us apart from our competitors. Through diagnostic tests to evaluate individual responses to treatments, we seek to match medicines to those patients who will benefit the most.

Our world-class Biosamples team is at the heart of every clinical program covering the sampling needs and logistics, the registration and storage of samples in the biobanks to support future science, and the compliance and governance to make sure that every human sample is treated in the right way. Together that ensures quality samples, collected, or purchased, are managed effectively and appropriately across their life cycle. By understanding the response to the treatment, we can develop the necessary tool to ensure our medicines target the patients most likely to benefit.

In our state-of-the-art research centres, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in your work, advance your career and contribute towards scientific excellence. But as well as growing in our multidisciplinary setting, you’ll work collaboratively with external diagnostic companies and world-class research institutes.
