You'll work in Enabling Units IT, in our Finance capability. It’s an exciting time to join us, as we set out on our journey to provide the “Best IT for the BioPharma Industry”. Our goal is to position IT as a strategic-enabler, and we do this by focusing on close business partnership, defining and executing business-aligned strategies, and finding and developing the best IT talent in the industry. Leading/contributing to business analysis on strategic projects that help our Finance teams, you will collaborate directly with the AZ Business partners who are working in those functions, our business relationship managers and the technology teams crafting and delivering our enabling technology.

ABOUT THE ROLE?

This opportunity will be at the centre of a significant SAP S/4 programme working with the Finance business to shape the future of our Finance organization and supporting technology. Once the project is completed, you will have enduring ownership of a set of the business capacities working directly with the Business Global Process leads to continue to support and manage technology change.

Key accountabilities include:

• Business Capability (Product) Ownership – you will own end to end a defined set of business capabilities and will run the implementation and support of technology used to support. Collaborating with the Global Process owner (who will be responsible for the business process and requirements) and depend upstream and Down steam Product managers to ensure there is a consistent and robust solution delivered to support the business.
• Project delivery - during the deployment of the SAP project you will lead a team who will deliver the technology solution using your knowledge and experience to ensure the best solution is delivered to meet AZ requirements while using SAP standard functionality. They will also need to priorities and schedule work and updates/changes with the support of the group.
• Solution documentation – Appropriate documentation, this will mean a clearly documented understanding of the solution its dependencies and links to other processes, allowing future changes to be accurately assessed and implemented with no/minimal impact to the operational business.
• Stakeholder Analysis & Change - Effectively identifies partners from all areas of the organisation. Works and collaborates with other areas of IT. Actively build and maintain relationships contributing to communication plans and change management for project and collaborators.
• Testing scope – working with other product managers, process leads and the testing team the product manager will ensure a comprehensive testing scope been defined and maintained. This will include defining automated testing scope and approach
• Support continuous improvement – provide input to continuous improvements of not just the technical solution but also the approach and ways of working in supporting the business capabilities.
• Business Analysis Planning - Selects the appropriate analysis approach to a piece of work depending on its complexity, level of risk, known assumptions, constraints and dependencies. Proficient in scoping and recommending appropriate approaches.
• Requirements Analysis and Design Definition - Responsible and accountable for requirements management plans including elicitation, approvals, processes, RAID and scope impacts. Sophisticated requirements elicitation and management skill-set; including traceability, testing and validation. Leads the work to identify functional and technical requirements, translating the requirements into design specifications reflecting Functional Design, User Interface Design and Business Process Design
• Business Case Definition - Shapes and defines this, producing detailed business justification for investment including value and benefits realization.
• Solution Evaluation - Highly proficient in analyzing and assessing solution proposals and able to articulate supporting reasoning. i.e. assessing business readiness, increasing value vs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?

• Formal certification in business analysis and experience within this field is preferred
• Professional experience working with SAP in the Finance Functional area
• Extensive experience in work with multi-functional teams to deliver SAP related business change projects/programmes.
• Experience of successfully deploying business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
• Confident working with complex integrated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
• Engagement, communication, and partner leadership skills including excellent presentation and influencing skills
• Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
• Worked with and lead third party suppliers/vendors and relationships

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Established knowledge of or some experience of SAP CFIN and /or SAP S/4
• Practical usage of Agile Methodology
• Experience of a global organization with complex/geographical context
• Exposure to User Centered Design and Design thinking (User Experience, Prototyping, User Interface Design and Business Process Design)
