UK Operations produces one of our leading Oncology brands Zoladex as well as packing a number of our tablet brands.

This role is based in Macclesfield as a home location but you will be working with colleagues around the globe as we support and challenge the operations teams continue to drive and improve our performance.
BUSINESS AREA
UK Operations comprises commercial manufacturing activities at Macclesfield in the UK and is a key part of Operations SET area. Macclesfield site currently formulates and packs a wide range of products and supplies these to other AstraZeneca sites and Marketing companies around the world.
This business partner role provides financial leadership to Zoladex PET and functional management teams at site and is an integral member of those teams. The role holder will provide insightful financial and commercial input to business decisions, challenge key forecasting assumptions and deliver expert financial analysis of key risks and sensitivities.
What you’ll do
As the Finance Business Partner, you will provide wide and varied financial support to:
Fully integrated member of PET leadership teams, supporting Zoladex Business Unit / PET leader to drive strategic and tactical direction, contributing across the range of financial and non financial issues
Constructively challenge the business to deliver productivity and financial improvements
Increase financial / commercial awareness of leadership teams and broader factory as a whole
Develop budgets and FMC, ensuring that key issues and sensitivities are clearly communicated to key stakeholders
Develop models and insights to test and support business strategy and apply them to generate robust decisions
Provide regular financial performance data to support operational decision making
Working with GFS to identify and deliver key improvement areas creating value adding opportunities and efficiencies across finance
Operate key monthly controls and ensure corporate governance standards are met
Essential for the role
You will be a qualified finance professional or equivalent with relevant post qualified experience
You will have proven financial and management accounting experience within Manufacturing/Supply Chain accounting
Strong interpersonal skills will be required as you will be expected to confidently interact and influence leaders across a number of functions and also independently work with colleagues across a number of global locations.
