As part of the Manufacturing Finance Hub, you will play a critical role in supporting this bold ambition. As a Manufacturing Finance Data & Systems SME you will be part of the team that supports business functions in their use of financial systems and ensure delivery of optimal levels of service. In addition you will be a key component in the partnership between Operations Systems and the IS organisation to ensure that the strategic, tactical and operational goals of the business are delivered, where relevant through third party suppliers, managing risk appropriately. You will play an important role in the stakeholder management across SET areas and provide expert advice, guidance and support on current and future use of systems to Operations Finance leaders.
Typical Accountabilities
Act as the subject matter expert for operations finance management reporting systems
Own, drive and manage system changes from identification to deployment including the coordination of key stakeholder groups and acting as the key link between the business and IT
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure end-end service delivery
Provide expert advice, guidance and support on current and future use of systems to Finance leaders
Contribute to Impact Assessment on Operations (Process and System) related to Finance and non Finance change projects
Represent Manufacturing Hub in AZ process improvement projects, ranging from small internal process changes through to global transformation projects
Champion a continuous improvement culture through simplification of business processes and systems
Maintain external focus on best practice and new technologies
Ensure compliance with group systems, Sox processes and IS security.
Input where necessary to the Manufacturing Accounting Governance Board
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Degree level qualification.
Track record of delivering high levels of customer service and change initiatives to internal and external customers
Experience of working with global manufacturing processes, projects and systems to tight deadlines and service levels across different technology bases, specifically with good knowledge of Finance architecture (Founded on SAP)
Experience working with a range of different customer groups across SET areas at senior levels
Strategic thinker and planner - able to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.
Works effectively with others and contributes to an environment that promotes effective teamwork and strong collaboration.
Advanced facilitation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Oral and written fluency in Business English
Ability to use a range of influencing techniques
Desirable
Significant work experience in relevant functional area
Specific Expert knowledge in specialist process area (Inventory or Product Costing or Cost Accounting)
