Human Resources at AstraZeneca delivers global and local processes through a combined model of in-house delivery and partnerships with 3rd parties (via HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs), Business Partners and HR Services). As the Wellbeing Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the UK country’s benefits programme and helping the benefit managers with delivery of the benefit plans and policies to employees. You will form part of the Reward & Inclusion Centre of Excellence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand the eligibility and operation of the benefit schemes.
Support the Team in delivering the benefits in a simple, understandable and accessible way to employees.
Dealing with queries, drafting communications, presenting to colleagues and employee groups, etc.
Support in the delivery of the annual benefits renewal.
Support the business with ensuring that their needs are met and queries are dealt with.
Analyse Management Information on benefits and providing data and commentary where appropriate.
Manage and monitor benefits invoicing, setting up purchase orders, and support the Finance teams with general ledger reconciliations.
Liaise with colleagues in other functions, e.g., Payroll, Finance, to support resolution of benefit-related queries, escalations, and issues.
Work to ensure the company have smooth, efficient and documented processes.
Liaise with external providers to ensure smooth delivery of benefits, adherence to agreed service level standards, etc.
Experience in completing benefit surveys.
Support and Delivery of ad-hoc projects.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience in benefits management and administration including Healthcare, Pensions and Auto-Enrolment and Voluntary Share plans (SAYE/SIP) etc.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proven analytical skills & ability to design and create presentations.
Expert knowledge of policies, processes and procedures pertaining to Benefits in the UK.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and an eye for detail.
Demonstrates knowledge and Experience in working with 3rd party providers.
An understanding of Wellbeing and employee benefits.
An understanding and interest in Diversity and Inclusion and how this impacts benefits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
