CTCM Design Financial Model Lead (Secondment/fixed term contract)

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid Model: minimum 3 days from office in Warsaw per week

You are a finance and/or accounting professional with strong experience in finance, people management and/or global finance project transformations management.

As part of a dynamic, global finance project team, your primary focus will be on managing one of the design workstreams of the Clinical Trials Cost Management project in designing a new system, processes and cost model for R&D cost management and reporting.

You will report directly to the Design Lead responsible for the design workstream and you will work together with the other design workstreams, project workstreams, finance and R&D business.

You will lead the Financial Modelling design workstream but may be required to support activities from the other workstreams.

Accountabilities:

Your main accountabilities will include:

Manage a team of analysts and support the activities related to the financial modelling workstream which will include:

• Interact with the R&D teams and to design the costs structure and understand the cost driver from each of the functions;
• Define what should be the right accounting treatment for each part of the cost structure;
• Understand the data landscape, processes and KPIs prioritized by the project in order to design the right reports to support the budget management process;
• Define the right SAP GL account and P2P system category for each part of the cost structure;
• Simulate and calculate the financial impact of the changes proposed;
• Support the controls workstream in order to design the right reports to automate the controls work;
• Support the calculation of the benefits of the implementation of the project;
• Support the data transition from the current cost structure and accounting treatment to the new ones designed by the project;
• supporting trainings / changes workstreams plus support with design documentation built

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential

• Strong experience with financial modelling
• Accounting rules
• Understanding of SOX and internal controls
• People management skills
• Power query and power pivot
• Hyperion
• Hyperion Smart View

Desirable

Financial Modelling:

• Experience with large global finance transformation projects
• Experience in Pharmaceutical industry
• Power BI experience
