Accountabilities:
As the Global Head of Talent and Organisation Effectiveness, you will lead the overall Talent Management group, Organisation Effectiveness (OE) Practice, and the Talent & Organisation Effectiveness Directors. You will be responsible for maintaining, governing and optimizing cross-business area talent programs and practices to drive enterprise impact & efficiency. You will also be tasked with developing and driving an impactful talent and early talent development strategy, working with the business facing Talent & Development Directors to deploy the infrastructure globally for all team members at AZ to grow in each of the identified leadership attributes to achieve the AZ2025 stated strategic objectives.
Essential Skills/Experience to be successful in this role:
- Extensive experience of a Talent Development, Organization Development, top tier Management Consultancy or related Global HRBP/Large market HRD experience
- Experience of managing a team and proven track record of growing talent
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a multinational, multicultural and highly matrixed environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing organizational effectiveness strategies and initiatives that drive business results and enhance employee engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or related field
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Thought leader in strategic talent and/or organisational effectiveness topics
- Experience managing large scale projects coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Energetic, forward-thinking, accountable and execution focused
- Familiar with talent intelligence and organisation strategic planning digital platforms & vendors
- Ability to translate business strategy into measurable development objectives
- Proven consultative ability and mindset to work with senior leaders and their teams to assess key skill gaps and design effective interventions to accelerate leadership potential
