ESM Business Process Champion - Axial

Join a supportive and welcoming team of equals at AstraZeneca's Operations department. We are looking for an ESM Business Process Champion to primarily support the delivery of the Axial programme on behalf of External Supply & Manufacturing (ESM).
The role holder will provide subject matter expertise in a variety of Supply Chain, Digital, Data and Analytics areas. If you have extensive supply chain knowledge, SAP ERP knowledge, and project management skills, this could be the perfect role for you!
Accountabilities:
The role holder will feed into the global design for ESM, ensuring ESM requirements are represented in the programme. They will be responsible for the Change impact assessment and implementation plan for ESM, lead communication for ESM, and act as a Change Champion for the Axial project. The role holder will also attend workshops, influence design, perform Change Impact Assessment, develop a gap-fit analysis and project plan for ESM, help with local master data cleanse, data updates and analytics requirements, lead and develop new processes and perform process reviews.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Extensive Supply Chain knowledge
- Extensive SAP ERP knowledge
- Project management skills
- Business Process Management experience
- Significant experience of operating in a global environment
- Able to lead strategic projects and initiatives across multiple sites/teams
- Strong influencing skills
- Experience in training teams and individuals
- Ability to work with complexity and manage ambiguity
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
- SAP user.
- Lean experience
- Proven project delivery
- Demonstrated continuous improvement.
- Experience of contract manufacturing
- Experience of working with external CMOs
- Cross-process knowledge.
