Introduction to role
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to join our UK GYN / GU team as a Brand Manager for GU cancers. This role is an exciting opportunity to own and drive the planning and development of brand operational plans, and the tactical delivery of assets / activities in line with brand strategy.
As a Brand Manager in the GYN / GU franchise, you will join a dynamic cross-functional team and be expected to collaborate with key internal stakeholders including the sales, medical, diagnostic, market access, and IBEX teams to implement the brand plan. You will be taking ownership of brand planning and activities and presenting to senior members of the team, as well as engaging with key external customers such as medical oncologists, specialist registrars, oncology nurses, and pharmacists to ensure the successful implementation of the brand strategy.
Accountabilities
- Tactical delivery, localisation, and execution of the marketing plan across various channels
- Delivery and course correction of localised brand strategic plans for in-line and pre-launch brands
- Drive the creation of content to deliver an engaging brand experience across channels
- Manage external vendors (including creative agencies, market research agencies, meeting partners)
- Manage the asset approval and compliance process with cross-functional partners
- Use insights and performance data to ensure tactical execution - including account planning, targeting, and segmentation
- External engagement with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers (including medical oncologists, specialist registrars, oncology nurses, and pharmacists)
- Manage annual brand marketing budget
Essential Skills/Experience
- Degree qualified – scientific, marketing, business
- Pharmaceutical oncology commercial experience with a strong performance track record
- Strong sales and/or marketing leadership with a successful track record of growing market share
- Creative multichannel marketing capabilities together with rigorous commercial business sense
- Success working as part of cross-functional teams with great communication skills
- Strong analytical and strategic skills
Very strong cross-functional team collaboration and informal leadership skills
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Good experience in the UK market
- Experience with launched and pre-launch brands
- Experience working in GU cancers
- Experience in launching new medicines in a new tumour area
- Alliance partnership working
