Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum max depending on experience

The Role
The National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) is a joint HM Government and British Business Bank (BBB) Programme. NSSIF is akin to a corporate venturing arm for HM Government, with the objective of supporting the delivery of national security capability for HMG and the development of the UK’s dual-use technology ecosystem. This position will focus on Market and Technology Research.
You will be required to:
- Help to drive forward the NSSIF Programme and make it a success for HMG and the Bank
- Support the NSSIF team and Director in driving forward the core activities, including,market analysis; company scouting; managing relationships with and recruiting NSSIF Fund Managers as well as our direct investments and future investment opportunities
- Be one of a growing team of NSSIF technology scouts and analysts providing support to the NSSIF Engineering team in identifying cutting edge technology capability
You will be able to demonstrate HMG experience and experience of NSSIF’s Areas of Technology Interest and/or investment experience, as well as a solid track record and ambition to grow your experience in these fields.
Experience of policy or business development in the face of uncertainty or ambiguity is also required as is experience of working in a flexible cross-team environment, while maintaining clear communications with all parties
