This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in London at least two days a week.
As the UK’s largest independent full fibre network and wholesale platform of choice, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.
Our network is greener, more reliable and designed for the future. The products we run over it lead the way on speed, value and service - helping businesses to innovate, communities to thrive, and people to live more connected digital lives.
At CityFibre, you’ll be part of something bigger, helping to build a better-connected Britain, together.
Joining us as a Salesforce Platform Lead
This is a high-impact, enterprise-level role where you’ll take ownership of one of our most critical platforms. You’ll lead the Salesforce platform end-to-end — shaping its strategy, ensuring its performance, and driving its continuous evolution. Acting as the organisation’s Salesforce authority, you’ll combine technical leadership, product ownership, and service management to deliver scalable, business-critical solutions.
You’ll receive a competitive salary, a performance related bonus and a flexible benefits package.
This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Own and evolve the Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap, aligning to business priorities
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide solutions across Sales, Service and Experience Clouds
- Act as Product Owner, driving backlog prioritisation and delivering measurable business value
- Take accountability for platform performance, including governance, reliability, and continuous improvement (SLAs, KPIs, optimisation)
- Provide architectural leadership across integrations, data models, automation and security
- Drive delivery across multiple teams and partners, ensuring quality, consistency and scalability
- Work across enterprise systems (e.g. ServiceNow, ERP, integrations), ensuring seamless end-to-end processes
- Champion innovation, leveraging AI, automation and integration capabilities to enhance performance and user experience
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll bring a combination of platform leadership, technical depth and commercial awareness, with the ability to operate at scale and influence senior stakeholders. You’ll also have:
- Proven experience in a senior Salesforce leadership role (Platform Lead, Architect or Product Owner) within a complex organisation
- Strong expertise across Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience) and deep understanding of platform architecture
- Experience owning platform governance, performance and optimisation (e.g. SLAs, KPIs, service improvement)
- Strong integration experience across enterprise systems (e.g. APIs, MuleSoft, ERP or ServiceNow)
- A product mindset, with experience prioritising backlogs and delivering measurable outcomes
- Experience leading multi-team delivery and working with partners/suppliers
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level
- A passion for driving innovation, data quality, and continuous improvement, including AI and automation
