This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least two days a week.

As the UK’s largest independent full fibre network and wholesale platform of choice, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Our network is greener, more reliable and designed for the future. The products we run over it lead the way on speed, value and service - helping businesses to innovate, communities to thrive, and people to live more connected digital lives.

At CityFibre, you’ll be part of something bigger, helping to build a better-connected Britain, together.

Joining us as a Finance Business Partner - Network Delivery

Join our Commercial Finance team as a Finance Business Partner supporting Network Delivery and PPC. You'll work closely with operational leaders to provide commercial insight, identify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions and influence decisions that drive performance across one of CityFibre's largest investment programmes.

You'll receive a competitive salary and performance-related bonus.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Partner with Network Delivery and PPC stakeholders to influence operational and financial performance
  • Provide commercial insight and challenge to support decision-making, investment priorities and value creation
  • Identify risks, opportunities and cost drivers, translating analysis into clear actions and recommendations
  • Support the evaluation of business cases, investment proposals and change initiatives, ensuring strong commercial outcomes
  • Use financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess options and support strategic decisions
  • Drive performance improvements through meaningful insight, stakeholder engagement and robust financial challenge

What you'll bring to the role

You'll be a commercially focused qualified accountant who enjoys partnering with the business, influencing decision-making and turning financial insight into action. You'll be comfortable challenging stakeholders, analysing complex data and helping leaders make better decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You'll also have:

  • Experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A
  • Strong commercial acumen with evidence of influencing business decisions and outcomes
  • Experience building business cases, investment appraisals and financial models
  • Ability to identify and communicate risks, opportunities and performance drivers
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar analytical tools is advantageous

We’ll support you to thrive inside and outside of work, with opportunities to grow your career and a flexible benefits package that adapts to your life – including generous annual leave (with an extra day off on your birthday), private medical insurance, health cash plans and family‑friendly policies.
