We’re changing up the future

We’re on a mission to build the UK’s finest digital infrastructure and unleash Britain’s potential. We’re connecting communities, boosting businesses, and giving everyone access to superfast broadband. We’re also changing up the industry - we might be growing fast but our open and inclusive environment means people can be themselves, speak up and make time for what matters.

With plans to supply millions of homes and businesses with Full Fibre infrastructure, we are looking for ambitious people to help make this happen. When you join us, you’ll join the CityFibre family where our culture inspires how we think, act and work. We’re looking for brilliant, forward-thinking people who want to help us leave a legacy and put new and exciting ideas into action.

A rewarding career

We’re passionate about our work and we’re passionate about our people too. With a salary of £26,400 + car allowance, when you join the CityFibre family you’ll also enjoy benefits like 25 days’ holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare.

How can you change it up?

You’ll join one of CityFibre’s busiest divisions, supporting our SHE team with everything relating to the safety, health and environment of our operations. You’ll be given responsibility from day one, so you can learn on the job, make an impact and start building your career in compliance.

As you develop into the role, some of the key areas you’ll focus on will be to help embed standards, advise on health and safety guidance and training, and to work closely with our SHE Business Partners to ensure we comply with legal, industry and organisational standards. You’ll also have the chance to work towards your NEBOSH and NRSWA Supervisor qualifications as part of your on-going development.

What will you bring to the role?

Whilst lots of your learning will be on the job, we are looking for you to have some sector experience in either construction, telecoms or utilities, as well as the drive to grow and succeed in a SHE based role.

You’ll also have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, document management experience and the ability to write accurate reports.

It’s an exciting opportunity, and our team will work closely with you to refine your skills, broaden your knowledge and kickstart a successful, long-lasting career.
