How can you change it up?

As a senior application developer at CityFibre, you’ll not just be a part of one fast-growing industry, but two! Telecoms and tech are incredibly exciting industries to be a part of - this is your opportunity to make your mark. Working in a DevOps-driven environment and within a Kanban framework, you’ll be working with a massive range of technologies that will see the digital revolution of the UK. Day to day, you’ll actively look into new tech that will improve our work, perform code reviews, coach junior developers and help drive a learning culture within the department.

What will you bring to the role?

This role needs someone driven. We’re redesigning the way Britain connects and your role is so important in how this is carried out. Our tech squad is pushing the boundaries. Don’t miss out on the chance to surround yourself with an impressive team of people pushing new ideas and catalysing the success of our business. You will bring some of the below to CityFibre with you:

  • Experience with PHP or Python
  • Experience with Laravel and MVC frameworks
  • Service Design Pattern, Repository Design Pattern experience
  • Experience using source control systems like Git
  • Experience with writing automated unit tests like PHPUnit, PyTest
