As a Network Optimisation Supervisor, you will be playing a crucial role in our goal to make a faster, better connected, fully fibre future. You will be supervising build works that primarily take place in private streets, helping us to optimise the network for a super connected society. Your main responsibility will be overseeing the dozens of projects across your allocated region, ranging from a small 5m trenching activity to delivery of a full primary node, and everything in-between. Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:
- Managing all OR NOI, NAs and whereabouts for the region
- Taking ownership of all GIS records updating both via self-perform or coordinating with the relevant teams
- Overseeing, auditing and signing off reporting on all Small Works (both before and after works that are taking place)
- Running regional projects that are focused on achieving on-time and quality delivery
- Accurately reporting defects in which works are found to be sub-standard
What will you bring to the role?
For this role, you will need to be an accredited New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Supervisor/Operative. You will need to have delivery experience in a telecommunications environment as well as have a proven track record in working on large quantities of multi-site projects. Alongside this, you will also have to demonstrate a good understanding of telecoms technology as well as fibre optic networks. You will bring some of the below to CityFibre with you:
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- An understanding of the CDM regulations and MDU specific regulations
- Ideally, experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
