As our Head of IT Governance & Assurance, your key focus will be to ensure that the IT organisation at CityFibre is doing ‘the right things’, and with governance at its core, you’ll ensure that the right framework of policies, standard and methodologies are in place to support this. You’ll work closely with the IT Governance & Control Director and the Head of IT Management & Control, taking a collective responsibility across areas such as IT strategy, governance, performance management and defining our IT ways of working. • Ensuring the highest standards in governance and assurance can be achieved within IT services and their technology partners
  • Driving focus and prioritisation within the IT division through establishing governance principles and processes
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of IT policies and procedures; guidelines, principles and standards; frameworks and methodologies
  • Working collaboratively with other member of IT and the wider business to deliver improvements which will benefit both our customers and our business

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll have extensive experience operating at a senior level within IT or business, as well as the ability to independently take on challenges and find appropriate solutions in a fast-paced and agile environment. We’re also looking for you to bring the following with you to the role:

  • Expertise in a wide range of aspects related to governance and assurance – including audit, risk and compliance
  • A strategic mindset, whilst still being able to react in an adaptive way
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technology solutions into easily understood business terms

We’re looking for people who don’t settle for ‘good enough’ and push things forward. If you’ve just found yourself thinking, ‘I’d love to do this’, we want to hear from you. Let’s change it up.
